Before the joint bearing ring enters the grinding process, it needs to go through the process of raw material preparation, forging, annealing, vehicle processing, heat treatment (quenching, tempering). Once these processes are not well controlled, it will affect the tensile strength of materials.
The homogeneity of the steel itself affects the tensile strength of the material.
If the forging temperature is too high, the cooling is too slow, and the tissue overheat forms a coarse and closed secondary carbide network, which is brittle, resulting in low tensile strength of the ring.
The machining size of the turning wheel is not well controlled. The oval and the part with large taper will aggravate the grinding heat when grinding, and the temperature will be raised instantly.
After quenching and tempering the structure level is too high, the rougher the martensitic body is, the lower the toughness of the material, the higher the quenching temperature and the longer the insulation time will lead to large deformation of the heat treatment products, which may also indirectly lead to grinding cracks.
In addition, the aging is not enough, continuous fatigue operation, the stress is too late to release, affecting the tensile strength of materials.
